Organic vs PPC vs Paid Inclusion

Many search engines had to find new revenue streams as the dot com bubble burst and targeted pay per click text ads provided that stream.
Yahoo! also has a paid inclusion program which is said to ensure coverage but not to have any effect on relevancy. Listing in their paid inclusion does get your site a human review though, so it may help improve your relevancy scores some.
Regular organic traffic: Organic search results are the free results off to the left side of the page.
Pay per click ads: Pay Per Click ads are usually at the right side of the page. Some search engines also place a few at the top & bottom of pages. Typically PPC ads in most search engines (such as Google, MSN, and Yahoo!) are above or below the search results are in a colored box. AOL and Ask Jeeves do not make it as easy to distinguish their paid listings though.
Paid inclusion: Paid inclusion sites list in the regular organic listings but paid inclusion is said to have no effect on relevancy. They are blended into the search results and can not be easily distinguished from the other search results.AltaVista was known to have a problem with mixing paid inclusion and organic ads for a while. Google feels paid inclusion is a conflict of interests with relevancy and has never had a paid inclusion program.
Why the Name Organic Listings?
They got the name organic listings because they are usually ideally unaltered by humans and not paid for.
Why Organic Listings Are "Pure"
If people thought their searches returned nothing but a bunch of advertisements, they would stop searching. For that reason these organic listings are pure, or at least the search engines want us to believe they are pure.
Google has been praised heavily for returning what many have deemed the most relevant search results while keeping their revenue stream clearly isolated from the organic listing results. As time passes though pressures have degraded Google's search relevancy.
SEO Tips to Improve Organic Rankings
There are many stages to achieving great organic listings.
Your site should be about something you are an expert on.
A good site plan should be thought out before you begin marketing.
Scope out the competition to see how competitive your keyword landscape is.
Decide what keywords you want to use prior to making your site (and before each page), and include them in your meta tags , page copy, page title, and file names when possible.
Your site should be easy to navigate and search engine friendly.
Each page should have a specific focus which is strongly and thoroughly maintained throughout.
Submit your site to the directories.
(not required) Search for spam in your keywords and report spam results. Some search engines (such as Yahoo!) actively edit their search results and you may be able to get spammy competitors removed.
Build a linking campaign. (Link building is the single most important step to EFFECTIVE SEO.)
Repeat what steps you feel necessary until you achieve top rankings. This is an ongoing process for most sites (especially in competitive fields).
Listings that appear off to the side or in another color than the rest of the results are not typically organic listings. These are typically pay per click paid listings.
Many of these paid listings come in a colored box as well.
SEO Timetable
While the linking campaign takes time to develop, for non competitive keyword phrases the SEO process can be completed in a few weeks.
If you are in a competitive field you will need lots of keyword rich links that take months to build. Google also seems to have incorporated some sort of delay into their ranking algorithm such that it takes about 3 months at a minimum to rank well for fairly competitive terms.
Why Content Matters
If your site sucks then it is harder to get inbound links. If you have questions about any of the different aspects of site creation or promotion feel free to ask me or read books on the various topics you need help in. For your convenience (and for my learning) I have reviewed a bunch of internet and marketing related books.
Also with content quality usually matters much more than quantity. One thing I did wrong with this site is that I made a huge site before I knew enough to make a huge site.
Hardest & Most Valuable Part of the SEO Process
One of the main goals of good content is to help you with link building. Link building is the single most important part of the SEO process. It also is usually the most time consuming and most expensive part of the SEO process. Need help? Contact Clientside SEM if you need optimizing your organic search presence.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

Search engine optimisation refers to process of developing your website to increase it's visibility on search engines for search queries relevant to your business. SEO affects the natural or organic listings (sometimes called rankings) in the search engine results pages.

Are Web Directories Useful for Top Search Engine Rankings

There are many webmaster forums like digitalpoint.com, sitepoint.com webmaster-talk.com etc where daily hundreds of people announce their new web directories which are mostly based on phpld script which offers a free version too. Now lets get into detail if these kind of stuff is helpful to the users or not.
Gii Web DirectoryFirst of all what matter is a Quality Inbound Link from different websites which are related to your niche. Which means that a backlink from a related website even of less pagerank would be helpful to your blog when compared to a link from a very high page rank website of a irrelevant niche. In case of Web Directories the situation is quite different because these are the websites which organize all the websites on the web in different categories. Now getting listed on these relevant categories is useful because these are quality related backlinks to your websites.
In the recent years, most website directories are considered to be bad and if your website is listed on these your website can even get penalized which is the reason you should decide and research a lot before getting listed into them. There is no point submitting your website to thousands of web directories and getting listed in those , whose pages are not even indexed in the search engines, also these new directories would not have any quality backlinks which means that its a total waste of time getting listed into these.
Finding a Good Web Directory :I would personally suggest submitting your websites to directories which are established ie which were launched years back and which are still running on the same goal of organizing different websites. These can be helpful to your websites rankings and using the right Anchor Text on these web directories in order to rank in the top of the search engines. Considering Page Rank of the directory while submitting is not the right criteria because the Page Rank would go to 0 anytime and there is no guarantee about this, hence taking PR as a single criteria while submitting is wrong. You need to check out the buzz about the directly all over the web, the backlinks to these directories using Yahoo! & Google linkdomain queries, the Alexa or Compete Rank to know if these directories get some decent traffic.
In the year 2006 i started a web directory called as globle internet index which has around 6000 different categories and a lot of information we have posted on different blogs under this website in order to help the visitors find the right information. At gii.in there are different listing options ranging from free to paid because the website approval does take some time & efforts in order to review them and there is no point in running a free web directory and then closing it at the end of the year while domain expires. There are many other good web directories which have been up from few years like botw.org, dir.yahoo.com , dmoz etc which are really worth submitting to.
Gii Web Directory
This post is regarding the web directories which list different websites and dont confuse yourself with the Blog Directories which are specifically for Web Blogs, we will write more about Blog Directories soon. Stay Tuned!

Get Paid for Posting Articles & Videos
If you are a professional content writer who is blogging on his blog from few months and not making any money, its time you should check out for other options available on the net. Here is one – where in you should become a member of bukisa – A knowledge sharing website where you need to share your experianced knowledge and earn money.
Bukisa LogoWhy is Bukisa good?Well thats because they accept everyone as a writer and most articles which are submitted are approved instantly and randomly they are checked for quality purpose which means that even if you are a decent writer you have a money making option here.
How do i get paid? You get paid via Paypal account with a Net30 payment which means that 30days after in a month end you have earned atleast 10$ in your account.
Do i have to write Unique Content? No this is the best part here, you can republish your own articles on your own blog as well as at Bukisa which means you are going to double the returns. Though you have a limit of only adding 25 articles in a days time.
The income made by you is calculated on a revenue sharing model which means that you make money mased on the impressions you have generated for your content every month also calculated with the number of members under your network. The only requirement which i found on the website is that you should be the owner of the content ie you should have written the content and then you can republish it anywhere else too. Try out writing atleast 3 articles every day for this company as a schedule and see the results after 3 months , because iam sure by that time the original and unique stuff which you would have submitted will start getting lot of traffic impressions which means you get paid continiously every month and not just one time.

What is "Link Exchange"

Link exchanging occurs when two RELEVANT websites post each others link on each others website. For example, a website that sells engine parts can exchange links with another website that sells windshield wipers. These products are relevant because they both belong in the auto industry. A website visitor searching for engine parts may need windshield wipers. Over time, this will increase search engine rankings and visibility. We encourage all websites to keep a clean, neat and tidy categorized directory so that their visitors can easily locate a link to an external website.

Why Are We the Best?
Simply Linking is the best link exchange software out there and the best part, it's free to try! We have a feature that other link programs don't have, a CONTINUOUS link checker. Thats right, once you exchange links with a user through our software, our built in web crawler will CONTINUOUSLY check if that website is still linked to you! This feature is ONLY available to premium members. We could write an entire sales letter about why we're the best economical solution out there, but just try the software and see for yourself.

How Will Your Website Benefit
The benefits of our program are phenomenal. Over time, you will see increased search engine rankings, increased hits, pagerank, visibility and more! We have the most features: Complete statistics about each website you exchange with including their track record, modify your category permissions, view the page rank of the main page / links page and MANY more features as detailed below.

How it Works
Our link exchange process involves 2 simple steps:
1. Send a link exchange request through our easy to use interface. Perform a search, select the sites you would like to exchange with, add them to your cart and check out.
2. Wait for the website to agree on the link exchange. Once they agree, you place the link on your site and enter the URL through our interface.

Marraige blues------- --Excellent and true!!!!!

Man: Sir, my wife is missing.
Postman: Yeh post office hai, police station nahi.
Man: Kya karu? Kahan jau? Khushi k maare kuchh samajh me nahi aa raha.

Meaning of Marriage for a woman: Sacrificing admiration of many men for the criticism of one man!

Husband: Tumse Shaadi Karke Mujhe Ek Bahut Bada Faayda Hua Hai.
Wife: Woh Kya?
Husband: Mujhe Mere Gunaaho ki Saza Jeete-Jee Hi Mil Gayi!

Why are wives more dangerous than the Mafia?
The mafia wants either ur money or life... The wives want both!

. A man is the head of the family and the wife is the neck. The neck turns the head exactly the way it wants.

. A boy on Date With Gal in BMW. Jaan ! Maine tumse ek baat chupaai hai ki I'm already married.
Girl: Oh GOD! Tumne To dara he dia, main Samjhi ye Car tumhari nahi.

. Men who don't understand women at all, by & large, fall into two groups: Bachelors and Husbands.

. Excellence is an option that is renewable.

Difference between GF & Wife?
GF-Beauty, Wf-Duty
GF-Pension, Wf- Tension,
GF-Yummy, Wf-Vehmi,
GF-Cool, Wf-Fool,
GF-Tutti-Fruity, Wf-Kismat Futi
GF-Fresh Cake, Wf-Earthquake

. Wife to her friend: My hubby bought me a Mood ring the other day. When I'm in a gud mood, it turns Green & when Im in a bad mood, it leaves a red mark on his forehead!

. Wats the diff between Complete & Finished?
If you find good wife u r complete otherwise u r finished.

. So many options: Poison, sleeping pills, hanging, jumping from a building, lying on train tracks, but we chose Marriage, slow and sure!

. Have u heard about the man who threw his wife into a pond of crocodiles? He's now being harassed by the animal rights for being cruel to the crocodiles.

. True friends stand behind u during ur bad times. Do u want a proof? Check out your marriage album. U'll find that all ur friends standing behind U.

. Two men r talking. 1st: I got married coz I was tired of eating out, cleaning the house, doing the laundry & wearing shabby clothes.
2nd: Amazing, I just got divorced for the very same reasons!

. A man's silence can break a woman's heart into a thousand pieces while a woman's silence can give a man a thousand moments of peace!

Some Good Tips to face the Interview...

An interview is a harrowing experience in any job-seeker's life, but in this day of cost-cutting, it can be even more of an ordeal. Sweaty palms, nervous fidgeting and urgent prayers are all just part of the process.

However, interviews are not the inquisition they are made out to be, and if you play your cards right, chances are you'll return with the job in your bag. Here are some tips that will help you gain that extra edge and bring you closer to cracking that interview.

Research:

Your interview process starts even before you go to meet your prospective employer. Start by preparing for the big day. Research the company/ organisation as well as you possibly can. Check their website, read whatever published literature you can find about the company, and if you know anyone who works there, talk to them. This will give you a better insight into the company and their work. It will also show initiative on your part.

Practice:

If you are very nervous about the interview, ask a friend to go through a dry run with you. Practice a mock interview at home, ask for feedback and try to iron out all wrinkles in your responses before you go for the interview.

Carry all your documents:

Always, always carry at least two or three copies of your resume, and all other documents that might be relevant to the job and/ or the interview. Arriving without relevant materials says that you are unprepared and not serious about the job.

Know your skill set:

Are you great at developing processes but don't know how to use the latest software? Are you good at design but hate conceptualizing? Know what your strengths and weaknesses are, so that you can play up your strengths at the interview table. A common interview question often is: "What are your three greatest strengths?" Try to come up with an answer that can be backed with examples, numbers or concrete results.

Don't back-bite:

You will almost certainly be asked why you left your previous company. Be sure to give a professional reply and refrain from bad-mouthing your previous employer, no matter how bad the terms you left on were. Back-biting will only make you appear petulant and vengeful.

Watch your attitude:

Don't be cocky and overconfident, but don't be subservient and passive either. The organisation is most likely looking for someone who is confident, eager to learn, and a good worker.

Communicate well:

Communication skills aren't a bonus in today's job market, they are a pre-requisite. Greet the interviewer with a firm handshake, make eye contact, and speak clearly and concisely. Don't ramble but make sure you get your point across. This will demonstrate your level of confidence and clarity of thought.

It's a two- way street:

Remember, an interview is an interaction to determine how well you fit into the organisation' s needs as well as how the company fits into your career plan. Ask questions, be involved and make suggestions. Your prospective employer will be pleased that you showed interest and were willing to learn more.

Highlight other achievements:

Sometimes, what takes you that extra mile need not be professional experience. It could be something you did on your own time that shows you in a better light to a prospective employer. For instance, if you have volunteer work on your resume, play it up. This shows a socially responsible bent of mind. If you are well-travelled, mention it. Not only does it say that you have had various kinds of exposure, it also implies you are adaptable to different cultures -- this might be useful if the job requires you to travel.

Say thank you

The day after the interview, send out a crisp thank you e-mail. However, be careful you don't make it a long saga, brevity is key when it comes to thank you notes.

Some tips for filling petrol and diesel: -

Only buy or fill up your car or bike during early morning, when the ground temperature is still cold. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks underground.. The colder the ground, the more dense the fuel. When it gets warmer, petrol expands. So, buying in the afternoon or in the evening, your litre is not exactly a litre. In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature play an important role. 1 degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business. But the service stations do not have temperature compensation at the pumps.

Another most important tip is to fill up when your tank is HALF FULL. The reason for this is, the more fuel you have in your tank the less is the air occupying its empty space. Petrol evaporates faster than you can imagine.

Another useful information is to avoid filling up if there is a fuel truck pumping into the storage tanks when you stop to buy. Most likely, the petrol/diesel is being stirred up as the fuel is being delivered, and you might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom.

Hope this will help you get the most value for your money.

DO SHARE THESE TIPS WITH OTHERS - IT IS IMPORTANT FOR AS MANY PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT THIS, ESPECIALLY IN THE WAKE OF RISING PETROL PRICES.

Do not pump full tank of petrol

Many of us are not aware that the petrol kiosk pump has a return pipe-line (in Pink ). When the petrol tank (in the car) reaches full level, there is a mechanism to trigger off the pump latch and at the same time a return-valve is opened (at the top of the pump station) to allow excess petrol to flow back into the sump. But the return petrol has already pass through the meter, meaning you are donating the petrol back to SHELL/CALTEX/MOBIL/ PETRONAS

A crime (",)

A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said:

'Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 yr. old and I'm pregnant again. I don't want kids so close together.' So the doctor said: 'Ok and what do you want me to do?'
She said: 'I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm counting on your help with this.'

The doctor thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: 'I think I have a better solution for your problem. It's less dangerous for you too.' She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request.

Then he continued: 'You see, in order for you not to have to take care of 2 babies at the same time, let's kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we're going to kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms.

The lady was horrified and said: 'No doctor! How terrible! It's a crime to kill a child! 'I agree', the doctor replied. 'But you seemed to be ok with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution. The doctor smiled, realizing that he had made his point.

He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that's already been born and one that's still in the womb. The crime is the same!

Think positive in life always

Once there was loving couple traveling in a bus in a mountainous area. They
decided to get down at some place. After the couple got down at some place
the bus moved on. As the bus moved on, a huge rock fell on the bus from the
mountain and crushed the bus to crumbs. Everybody on board was killed. The
couple upon seeing that, said, "We wish we were on that bus" Why do u think
they said that?

If they had remained on the bus instead of deciding to get down, the
resulting time delay could have been avoided and the rock would have fallen
after the bus had passed ..!!! Think positive in life always and look for
opportunities when u can help Others......

NINE WORDS WOMEN USE

(1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.
(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

(5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' . that will bring on a 'whatever').

(8) Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying F-- YOU!

(9) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

Have U ever heard about LPG gas cylinder's expiry date....!!

I also didn't know how to find LPG cylinder's expiry date? Expired Cylinders are not safe for use and may cause accidents. In this regard please be cautious at the time of accepting any LPG cylinder from the Vendor.

Here is how we can check the expiry of LPG cylinders:
On one of three side stems of the cylinder, the expiry date is coded alpha numerically as follows A or B or C or D and some two digit number following this e.g. D06.

The alphabets stand for quarters -
1. A for March (First Qtr),
2. B for June (Second Qtr),
3. C for Sept (Third Qtr),
4. D for December (Fourth Qtr).

The digi ts stand for the year till it is valid. Hence D06 would mean December qtr of 2006.
Please Return Back the Cylinder that you get with a Expiry Date, they are prone to Leak and other Hazardous accidents...

The second example with D13 allows the cylinder to be in use until Dec 2013.
