Organic vs PPC vs Paid Inclusion

Many search engines had to find new revenue streams as the dot com bubble burst and targeted pay per click text ads provided that stream.
Yahoo! also has a paid inclusion program which is said to ensure coverage but not to have any effect on relevancy. Listing in their paid inclusion does get your site a human review though, so it may help improve your relevancy scores some.
Regular organic traffic: Organic search results are the free results off to the left side of the page.
Pay per click ads: Pay Per Click ads are usually at the right side of the page. Some search engines also place a few at the top & bottom of pages. Typically PPC ads in most search engines (such as Google, MSN, and Yahoo!) are above or below the search results are in a colored box. AOL and Ask Jeeves do not make it as easy to distinguish their paid listings though.
Paid inclusion: Paid inclusion sites list in the regular organic listings but paid inclusion is said to have no effect on relevancy. They are blended into the search results and can not be easily distinguished from the other search results.AltaVista was known to have a problem with mixing paid inclusion and organic ads for a while. Google feels paid inclusion is a conflict of interests with relevancy and has never had a paid inclusion program.
Why the Name Organic Listings?
They got the name organic listings because they are usually ideally unaltered by humans and not paid for.
Why Organic Listings Are "Pure"
If people thought their searches returned nothing but a bunch of advertisements, they would stop searching. For that reason these organic listings are pure, or at least the search engines want us to believe they are pure.
Google has been praised heavily for returning what many have deemed the most relevant search results while keeping their revenue stream clearly isolated from the organic listing results. As time passes though pressures have degraded Google's search relevancy.
SEO Tips to Improve Organic Rankings
There are many stages to achieving great organic listings.
Your site should be about something you are an expert on.
A good site plan should be thought out before you begin marketing.
Scope out the competition to see how competitive your keyword landscape is.
Decide what keywords you want to use prior to making your site (and before each page), and include them in your meta tags , page copy, page title, and file names when possible.
Your site should be easy to navigate and search engine friendly.
Each page should have a specific focus which is strongly and thoroughly maintained throughout.
Submit your site to the directories.
(not required) Search for spam in your keywords and report spam results. Some search engines (such as Yahoo!) actively edit their search results and you may be able to get spammy competitors removed.
Build a linking campaign. (Link building is the single most important step to EFFECTIVE SEO.)
Repeat what steps you feel necessary until you achieve top rankings. This is an ongoing process for most sites (especially in competitive fields).
Listings that appear off to the side or in another color than the rest of the results are not typically organic listings. These are typically pay per click paid listings.
Many of these paid listings come in a colored box as well.
SEO Timetable
While the linking campaign takes time to develop, for non competitive keyword phrases the SEO process can be completed in a few weeks.
If you are in a competitive field you will need lots of keyword rich links that take months to build. Google also seems to have incorporated some sort of delay into their ranking algorithm such that it takes about 3 months at a minimum to rank well for fairly competitive terms.

If your site sucks then it is harder to get inbound links. Some Good Tips to face the Interview...

An interview is a harrowing experience in any job-seeker's life, but in this day of cost-cutting, it can be even more of an ordeal. Sweaty palms, nervous fidgeting and urgent prayers are all just part of the process.

However, interviews are not the inquisition they are made out to be, and if you play your cards right, chances are you'll return with the job in your bag. Here are some tips that will help you gain that extra edge and bring you closer to cracking that interview.

Research:

Your interview process starts even before you go to meet your prospective employer. Start by preparing for the big day. Research the company/ organisation as well as you possibly can. Check their website, read whatever published literature you can find about the company, and if you know anyone who works there, talk to them. This will give you a better insight into the company and their work. It will also show initiative on your part.

Practice:

If you are very nervous about the interview, ask a friend to go through a dry run with you. Practice a mock interview at home, ask for feedback and try to iron out all wrinkles in your responses before you go for the interview.

Carry all your documents:

Always, always carry at least two or three copies of your resume, and all other documents that might be relevant to the job and/ or the interview. Arriving without relevant materials says that you are unprepared and not serious about the job.

Know your skill set:

Are you great at developing processes but don't know how to use the latest software? Are you good at design but hate conceptualizing? Know what your strengths and weaknesses are, so that you can play up your strengths at the interview table. A common interview question often is: "What are your three greatest strengths?" Try to come up with an answer that can be backed with examples, numbers or concrete results.

Don't back-bite:

You will almost certainly be asked why you left your previous company. Be sure to give a professional reply and refrain from bad-mouthing your previous employer, no matter how bad the terms you left on were. Back-biting will only make you appear petulant and vengeful.

Watch your attitude:

Don't be cocky and overconfident, but don't be subservient and passive either. The organisation is most likely looking for someone who is confident, eager to learn, and a good worker.

Communicate well:

Communication skills aren't a bonus in today's job market, they are a pre-requisite. Greet the interviewer with a firm handshake, make eye contact, and speak clearly and concisely. Don't ramble but make sure you get your point across. This will demonstrate your level of confidence and clarity of thought.

It's a two- way street:

Remember, an interview is an interaction to determine how well you fit into the organisation' s needs as well as how the company fits into your career plan. Ask questions, be involved and make suggestions. Your prospective employer will be pleased that you showed interest and were willing to learn more.

Highlight other achievements:

Sometimes, what takes you that extra mile need not be professional experience. It could be something you did on your own time that shows you in a better light to a prospective employer. For instance, if you have volunteer work on your resume, play it up. This shows a socially responsible bent of mind. If you are well-travelled, mention it. Not only does it say that you have had various kinds of exposure, it also implies you are adaptable to different cultures -- this might be useful if the job requires you to travel.

Say thank you

The day after the interview, send out a crisp thank you e-mail. However, be careful you don't make it a long saga, brevity is key when it comes to thank you notes.

Only buy or fill up your car or bike during early morning, when the ground temperature is still cold. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks underground.. The colder the ground, the more dense the fuel. When it gets warmer, petrol expands. So, buying in the afternoon or in the evening, your litre is not exactly a litre. In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature play an important role. 1 degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business. But the service stations do not have temperature compensation at the pumps.

Another most important tip is to fill up when your tank is HALF FULL. The reason for this is, the more fuel you have in your tank the less is the air occupying its empty space. Petrol evaporates faster than you can imagine.

Another useful information is to avoid filling up if there is a fuel truck pumping into the storage tanks when you stop to buy. Most likely, the petrol/diesel is being stirred up as the fuel is being delivered, and you might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom.

I also didn't know how to find LPG cylinder's expiry date? Expired Cylinders are not safe for use and may cause accidents. In this regard please be cautious at the time of accepting any LPG cylinder from the Vendor.

Here is how we can check the expiry of LPG cylinders:
On one of three side stems of the cylinder, the expiry date is coded alpha numerically as follows A or B or C or D and some two digit number following this e.g. D06.

The alphabets stand for quarters -
1. A for March (First Qtr),
2. B for June (Second Qtr),
3. C for Sept (Third Qtr),
4. D for December (Fourth Qtr).

The digi ts stand for the year till it is valid. Hence D06 would mean December qtr of 2006.
Please Return Back the Cylinder that you get with a Expiry Date, they are prone to Leak and other Hazardous accidents...

The second example with D13 allows the cylinder to be in use until Dec 2013.

This definition of SEO sounds simple, but beware! Search engine optimization is a minefield, even for professionals, and although necessary to a business, should not be undertaken lightly. Below, is a brief look at the top 10 mistakes and how to correct them.

1. Non-Relevant Linkage.

External links to your site play a large part in most of the major search engine algorithms and can be considered an endorsement of your site. But if you are being linked to from sites that have no relevance to your content, then that is now considered a negative endorsement and will not raise your ranking in the search engines. Ensure all links to your pages are from relevant sites. Be wary of link builders who acquire links from gambling, pharmaceutical or adult themed sites, especially if your site is not of the same theme. Link building is as much a science as it is an art, one we take very seriously.

2. Untargeted Keywords.

The people who use search engines are ‘normal’ people who are not likely to use words used in advertising brochures. Get to know how your customers ask for your services/products and use these in your content. Often times, actual keyword research will surprise you.

3. Excessive Graphics and Flash Content.

This looks good on a web page, but to search engine crawlers it means little. Search engines are looking for content, keywords, and relevancy to the search terms. By all means have some graphics, but don’t forget the meat. This doesn’t mean Flash designed websites are bad necessarily. In fact, some big businesses do use it. For most webmasters though, Flash sites are best avoided. Unless your Flash designer does high-end websites and knows how to integrate the content and keywords within the Flash, hybrid sites combining Flash headers with HTML content will be a good option.

4. Believing all search engines are the same.

What pleases Yahoo might not necessarily please MSN or Google. Optimize your content, keywords, inbound links, and internal linking structure so that there is something for at least one of the three top search engines.

5. Multiple Search Engine Submissions.

In the very early days of search engines, this technique may have had some success, but now it can lead to slower indexing and rankings. A site with inbound links from other sites will get indexed naturally and search engine submission is not necessary. In fact, multiple submissions may be construed as an attempt to spam the search engines. 6. Incorrect Use of Title Tags.

Most people consider the title to be for their company name or product. Not so. You must include your most important search phrases within your title tag and if you do want your company name there, keep it for the end. Keep the title tag to less than 65 characters long to avoid the appearance of title tag keyword-stuffing.

7. Use of ‘Black Hat’ techniques.

Techniques such as doorway pages, hidden text, and overstuffing keywords may have had success in the past but now they will earn you penalties and could even get you banned. Avoid them altogether if you are seeking long term success. Some black hat techniques can work on a short term basis, but in the long run prove very costly.

8. Expecting Immediate Results.

SEO is an ongoing process and should be treated as such by your SEO company. Good optimization will involve building good links with quality sites and this takes time.

9. Use of Unethical SEO Consultants.

Beware the consultant that guarantees rankings with no past clients to back it up with or claims of special relationships with search engines. Many such “consultants” or “experts” will probably take your money and run. Choose a reputable SEO consultant, one who will keep in regular contact with progress reports and updates.

10. Decide to do optimization in-house.

Probably possible in the past, but now with ever increasing sophistication of search engine algorithms, this is an area best left to an expert. Furthermore, the good SEO experts usually have other income streams from their online marketing activities and a regular paycheck to work full-time simply doesn’t justify their time invested. We’ve yet to meet a good SEO who doesn’t have virtual real estate bringing in a nice chunk of cash.

1. Place your Windows XP CD in your cd-rom and start your computer (it’s assumed here that your XP CD is bootable – as it should be - and that you have your bios set to boot from CD)
2. Keep your eye on the screen messages for booting to your cd Typically, it will be "Press any key to boot from cd"
3. Once you get in, the first screen will indicate that Setup is inspecting your system and loading files.
4. When you get to the Welcome to Setup screen, press ENTER to Setup Windows now
5. The Licensing Agreement comes next - Press F8 to accept it.
6. The next screen is the Setup screen which gives you the option to do a Repair.
It should read something like "If one of the following Windows XP installations is damaged, Setup can try to repair it"
Use the up and down arrow keys to select your XP installation (if you only have one, it should already be selected) and press R to begin the Repair process.
7. Let the Repair run. Setup will now check your disks and then start copying files which can take several minutes.
8. Shortly after the Copying Files stage, you will be required to reboot. (this will happen automatically – you will see a progress bar stating "Your computer will reboot in 15 seconds"
9. During the reboot, do not make the mistake of "pressing any key" to boot from the CD again! Setup will resume automatically with the standard billboard screens and you will notice Installing Windows is highlighted.
10. Keep your eye on the lower left hand side of the screen and when you see the Installing Devices progress bar, press SHIFT + F10. This is the security hole! A command console will now open up giving you the potential for wide access to your system.
11. At the prompt, type NUSRMGR.CPL and press Enter. Voila! You have just gained graphical access to your User Accounts in the Control Panel.
12. Now simply pick the account you need to change and remove or change your password as you prefer. If you want to log on without having to enter your new password, you can type control userpasswords2 at the prompt and choose to log on without being asked for password. After you’ve made your changes close the windows, exit the command box and continue on with the Repair (have your Product key handy).
13. Once the Repair is done, you will be able to log on with your new password (or without a password if you chose not to use one or if you chose not to be asked for a password). Your programs and personalized settings should remain intact.
I tested the above on Windows XP Pro with and without SP1 and also used this method in a real situation where someone could not remember their password and it worked like a charm to fix the problem. This security hole allows access to more than just user accounts. You can also access the Registry and Policy Editor, for example. And its gui access with mouse control. Of course, a Product Key will be needed to continue with the Repair after making the changes, but for anyone intent on gaining access to your system, this would be no problem.
And in case you are wondering, NO, you cannot cancel install after making the changes and expect to logon with your new password.

Behavioural Characteristics: The Indian Tiger cub stays with its mother and siblings until about the age of two when they move on to establish its own territory. During this time, tigers communicate with each other with loud and distinct calls that travel great distances.

Diet: The Bengal tiger is a meat eater with a diet that includes deer, pig, buffalo. Occasionally the tiger will eat birds and fish.

Environment: The Indian Tigers lives in the country of India, on the continent of Asia. This Tiger is happy in his habitat as long as he lives near tall grass, wet swamps, dim forests and prey.

Current Status Of Tigers in India : The Indian Tiger is being killed for sport and for profit. People kill them every day for their teeth, fur, and body parts. Asiatic Lion (Panthera leo persica) One of the largest of Indian cats, and the last remnant of the low-three digit population is confined to at Sasan Gir Wildlife Sanctuary, where less than 300 remain. There are plans to translocate this highly endangered animal to Kuno sanctuary in Madhya Pradesh.

About the Indian Lion:

The Asiatic Lion is rated the most endangered large carnivore globally. And India has the distinction of being the last earthly refuge of the Asiatic Lion. Sariska National Park and Lion Sanctuary is the one and only remaining habitat of this proud and majestic species.

An average Asiatic Tiger Tour, also known as the Indian Lion, is generally 2.5 m to 2.9 m tall, and weighs between 200 to 250 kg. It has a majestic mane and a big tail tuft. Indian Lions move about in prides, comprising 2-3 male adults and more lionesses and cubs. They communicate with each other with a variety of grunts, meows, growls, moans and roars, and while female cubs stay with the pride, the males leave after they are three years old.

The Asiatic Lions are lazy and indolent creatures that prey on the Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Wild Pig, and occasionally on goats and camels. Indian Lion Safari males often live in pairs that last a lifetime. However, in the pride it is the females who go out hunting in packs and bring back prey, which is first devoured by the male, and only then by the rest of the pack. In the daytime, they live close to water holes and rest in the shade. Hunting is relegated to dusk, or at night.

The Asiatic Lion once ranged from Asia Minor and Arabia through Persia to India. In fact, at the turn of the century, Gir was a splendid mixed, deciduous forest of teak, acacia, zizyphas and banyan, sprawled over some 3,386 sq. km. Lions would have thrived there, were it not for their enemies-hunters and a devastating famine that all but wrapped up the prey species. At one time the estimated number of lions went down to as low as thirty. However, due to the efforts of the authorities and the Marine National Park, the Asiatic Lion has been narrowly saved from extinction. Though it is still a highly endangered species, statistics show that if efforts are kept up, their numbers might begin to improve.
